ADAPTING TO OUR ENVIRONMENT
That time is upon us: the day that for most of the world is merely Tuesday, but on which New Orleans celebrates its uniqueness. Last year was very strange for us, living in a place where there are no parades, no costumes, no craziness, etc. I'm happy to report, however, that the Little Rankster and I have found a way to celebrate Mardi Gras -- Midwest style.
Happy Mardi Gras!

I just wanted to tell you that I find your blog very interesting, and I've gained much insight from reading it. I have three special needs kiddos (all have physical special needs). It's interesting to read about some of the issues we deal with, some of the issues we don't deal with, but how God's wisdom can be so clearly defined in every situation. Thanks for blogging!
Somehow I'm not surprised you found a way to celebrate the day, even if in snowperson style!
Hahaha! Your snowperson is great!! I love Mardi Gras--we went several years ago before Katrina, and it will be a treasured memory forever. Laissez les bon temps rouler!!
So how many people did that snow person have to show his/her chest to in order to get the beads???
LOL

I love your picture here. :) So cute. I live in PA and miss my more southern weather of my native MD...I can relate to this! I am enjoying your blog so far...I myself just started one recently (so I am a total rookie on these issues) and am totally obsessed now with the vaccine issue. Keep up the good work.
